Fostering Innovation and Cooperation in Space between the EU and LAC

4 & 5 April 2024, Delfins Beach Resort, Bonaire & Online

The EU Global Action on Space will organise a two-day event in Kralendijk, Bonaire, on the EU Space Programme opportunities for collaboration with the Latin America and Caribbean Region. The event will take place on April 4 and 5, 2024. The event will be an opportunity to introduce the potential benefits of the EU Space Programme and its components for environmental protection, waterborne transport and emergency response.

The event’s objective is to underline the importance of cooperation between the EU and the LAC region in the space domain and present the benefits of using European space data for the local communities.

The event will be hybrid, and online participants will be able to follow the presentations and live demonstrations.

The event will gather local stakeholders from Bonaire and public and private representatives from the wider LAC region. It will aim to foster meaningful discussions and networking opportunities between institutional and industry stakeholders from the EU and LAC ecosystems.
